Don't just watch, touch Whales

Don't just watch whales, touch and interact with them too! Chicago's Shedd Aquarium has started a Beluga whale exhibit where visitors can enter the pool and pet the whales.


Beluga whales are from Arctic reagion and like Polar bears are white in color. They are also called Canaries of the sea for their twitter music.

Reading stories can really save you

Vince Hagedorn realized he was out of fuel and had to land quickly. He immediately remembered 'Biggles, Pioneer Air Fighter' story book he had once read, where Biggles used "pancake" technique to fly sideways into a tree to lessen the impact of a crash landing. Hagedorn "pancaked" into a tree at the Caird Park Golf Course in Dundee City, Scotland leaving the scene with a big grin on his face.

Shooting stars

I was excited to know that Perseid meteors could be seen tonight at the rate of about 100 shooting stars per minute. Stepped out of my apartment in the midnight in my payjamas gazing at the sky. With all the bright street lights around me, it was hard for me to see any star. So, I was looking for any videos online to get virtual experience when I came across the Denver UFO Rocket video at YouTube:



The video definitly cheered me up today.
